Graduate After 10th Grade?

Should Kids Be Able to Graduate After 10th Grade? - I can still remember sitting in my 10th grade math class wondering when this would be all over. I was so so bored with school. It wasn’t that I hated school, it was more I felt it was not offering me opportunities that were beyond what I was doing in real life.

By my 10th grade I was already a member of the local fire department and one of the youngest certified paramedics in the state of Oregon. Regularly saving the lives of many adults with strokes and heart attacks, not to mention a slew of traffic accidents.

Stanford Engineering Everywhere

I remember when I was approaching the time when I should decide what I wanted to do with my life. Back then we did not have the world wide web (www) or anything remotely resembling such an idea. Especially when it came to getting an education.

Well 40 years later the www has become one of the richest places to get an education and all for free. Of course if you want your eduction to mean anything with regards to accreditation you have to sign up and take the classes, take the exams and get the diploma.

Da Vinci’s Streamwriting technique

This is not the Da Vinci Code but many of the processes described in the book and in the movie rely on using brain storming techniques to solve problems. Over the last long holiday weekend I was involved in a brain storming session looking at how to resolve some web hosting issues for one of my friends.
